Research Manager
RESEARCH MANAGER - one position

One Research Manager will be immediately recruited to be part of our healthcare and materials science client sector who will provide technical support to ICeNd's global sales efforts targeting academic, government, and other science-related customers. This customer-focused position is appropriate for a technologist who wants to work with a dynamic team while showing the strength of our technology, assisting clients with characterization difficulties, and serving as a liaison between internal and external stakeholders. Working on cutting edge high-end nanofabrication devices and advanced theories, this person is exposed to a constant variety of client application areas while collaborating with the world's best scientists and laboratories.
Key Responsibilities
Perform high quality scientific experiments and demonstrations, including the development of new techniques and applications for ICeNd partners and customers.
Customer support and applications training post sales cycle and after the instrument has been installed. Translate customer needs into workable solutions.
Providing technical product expertise assistance during all phases of the sales cycle.
Cultivating positive customer relationships and acting as a high level customer interface for specific instrument/applications issues, explaining complex technology details, giving in depth technical presentations, and assisting in applications development.
Provide continuous feedback to the product groups on system performance, features, and potential problems while collaborating with marketing/development groups on future product developments.
Act as a primary communication conduit to the manufacturing department by reporting engineering and production issues from customers to ICeNd.
Troubleshoot and report software and hardware issues and escalate as necessary.
Provide feedback to engineering on system performance, features and problems.
Recommend and advise on direction for potential applications consistent with customer requirements and technical feasibility.
Provide technical support to our Sales team, R&D, Manufacturing, Customer Service and other departments as required.
Minimum Requirements/Qualifications
Typically requires a PhD or MBA with engineering and scientific discipline, preferably bioengineering, electronics, physics and chemistry background with experience in Materials Science, Biophysics, and Nanoengineering is an advantage. Fresh PhD with no prior experience are highly welcomed.
Knowledge of advanced technology and diagnostics as well as operational optimization experience of analytical equipment; specifically electron beam, ultra high vacuum and physical vapour deposition, spectrometers or other analytical techniques required.
Excellent, enthusiastic, clear communication skills, both written and verbal, with a diverse audience are essential to the success of this position.
Proven ability to interact with cross-functional and cross-cultural teams
Frequent traveling (up to 50%) and ability to travel both domestically internationally, possession of a valid passport.

One Compliance Executive will be immediately recruited to be part of our healthcare and materials science client sector who will provide accounting and compliance support to ICeNd's global sales efforts targeting academic, government, and other science-related customers. This company-focused position is appropriate for someone who has some experience in accounting and banking of scientific activites who wants to work with a dynamic team.
This role typically involves overseeing and managing the company's compliance with legal, regulatory, and ethical requirements in a variety of areas, such as finance, banking, government regulations, and more.
Key responsibilities of a Compliance Executive include:
Ensuring that the company complies with relevant laws, regulations, and internal policies.
Developing and implementing compliance programs and policies.

Duration: 3-4 months.
B.Sc. Physics, Chemistry, Biological sciences, Earth and related Environmental sciences, Food science. Internships priority will be for 2nd and 3rd year students.
B.E./B.Tech Electronic engineering, biotechnology, agriculture engineering, food technology, mechanical and materials engineering, biomedical engineering, chemical engineering, environmental engineering, nanoengineering, paint technology, toxicology, instrumentation & electronics engineering.
